Placement tips
- Prefer pipe metal or insulated tip contact over dangling in a sunny doorway.
- Keep the ESP32 dry; only the probe tip belongs in damp crawlspaces.

What is the probe mount kit?

Do I still need the ESP32 freeze kit page?
Yes for board + probe wiring and sketch download. The mount kit is the physical install BOM; the freeze kit is the electronics path: thermaltrace.dev/about/esp32-freeze-kit.
Where should the probe tip sit?
